Was it a dream?? 

It was the morning of the big day. The perfect day, that had been planned carefully with so much attention and care. She got up really early, matter of fact, didn’t sleep all night. Tossing, turning and wondering about the outcome. She had planned about her appearance and what she could wear. Nabil was so attentive to detail. She wanted to look and smell her best. She messaged her love and informed him. The wait was over! Several months of crying and hoping for this day was over. She took a deep breathe and looked at her self in the mirror, hoping for the best. Picked up her handbag and sat in the car anxiously waiting for the driver. She has it all planned in her head. What if they decided to come in? What if she got there late? What if he came late? Over and over, it was never ending. Every stop she would informed him. Nabil was mentally preparing himself for the big meet. As the time ticked closer to the nearly 4 hour drive came to end. The anxiety kicked in.

 

The driver parked the car, following her instructions. She was excited and anxious at the same time. The opened the car door and told them harshly. “ I will be fine” she ran towards the massive building not looking back. As she got in, taking a deep breath and found Nabil staring at her with so much love. Her heart raced like a train on a track. Nabil could sense her over whelming behaviour. He gave his hand to her. With out thinking, she grasped his hand and followed him to the escalator. It’s was like , they had known each other forever. The physical connection between them was so deep, that it felt like home. She felt a sudden spark as he scooped her hand and held it tight. As the got to the cafe, Nabil sat her down and poured water in a glass and asked her to drink it. He could sense that, she was not her self. He gentle rubbed her back to calm her down. She was sat so close that there was no gap between them.

Yet she felt completely comfortable with this man that she had never met before. She looked into Nabil’s eyes and she could see herself. It felt safe , home her home.

  Meeting you Nabil, was an unexpected coincidence.  Befriending you was my choice. I don’t know when the friendship turned to a feeling, that I had never experienced. The feeling! This so called feeling lead to many more, feelings over the period of many months. Firstly a light banter, bitter sweet late nights. Then the anguish , that was out of my control. Yes the anguish, that ran through my nerves, triggering more nerves. The nerves that lead to my damaged throbbing heart. My brain was giving me instructions to warn my idol heart. Your sweet voice was a dose to my soul. In this whole process, I don’t know how and when I became you. I was writing my feelings for you. Because it’s my way of expressing myself so that I feel better. You always say that I must express myself to you. And honestly I feel better. It helps me to relax my mind. Or I need to read. I’m a bloody walking library. Get used to it.

      Baby please don’t overthink. I’m here for you always. I know that you are thinking that she is the biggest overthinker that you probably know, but I can’t bare you stressing over stuff that is not in your control. I know, what is on your mind all the time. Your silence speaks to me. It hurts me so much that you worry so much. You are very special to me and mean more than I can express. All I know is that my heart is always restless without you. It secretly prays for your happiness and success all the time.  I start my day thinking about you and end my day thinking about you. Our endless conversations and romantic fights. Our cute FaceTime moments we share. Holding items to feel ones presence nearby. Looking at the ticking clock to see what the other must be doing. And most importantly, waiting for one another all day to hear that voice, that rescues our souls  from despair. Then again it is fuelled to roam again the next day and so on.   You are my ❤️...
